   1、適用于細胞、組織器官培養、細胞株保藏。
   2、單抗研制。
   3、是醫院、科研院校、動物疫苗、生物制藥廠家重要培養基。
   4、提供維持細胞指數生長的激素，基礎培養基中沒有或量很少的營養物，以及主要的低分子營養物。
   5、提供結合蛋白，能識別維生素、脂類、金屬和其他激素等，能結合或調變它們所結合的物質活力。
   6、有些情況下結合蛋白質能與有毒金屬和熱原質結合，起到解毒作用。
   7、是細胞貼壁、鋪展在塑料培養基質上所需因子來源。
   8、起酸堿度緩沖液作用。
   9、保護細胞不受傷害。
